Alright I just finished writing a one shot crossover fic. It's femslash if anyone is wondering. The fandoms are the TV shows Criminal Minds (the person the story revolves around is my icon), The Inside, Gossip Girl, the movies Untraceable and Final Destination with some original characters thrown in. Now I need a person or two to beta it.

After that I'll be writing an epic crossover soon where the first story is a crossover of Mean Girls and two Canadian TV series called Higher Ground and Student Bodies.

Working On: Goddaughter, a novel that mixes together everything I like about fantasy, from video games to manga to literature to movies/TV (though it's mostly Final Fantasy and Greek Mythology). Also Kindness From Strangers, a series of mostly unrelated short stories.

I would really like some constructive (bad AND good points) criticism on "Goddaughter". KFS, I don't put ~~as much~~ effort into. They're my sandbox for whatever ideas I can't fit into Goddaughter, and writing practice. I'm good at critiquing and giving advice, so if you need a sounding board for any sort of writing at all--besides poetry, which I don't read or write--I will totally be one for you.

Is anyone else here a member of

page_a_day? What type of goals have you set? I'm probably going to aim for 500 words a day on stories, since I'm having Issues at the moment. Would anyone be interested in.. I don't know. PMing each other the daily writing as proof it's been done? Or maybe setting a "word wars" goal (like "do a 30 minute word war with XXX" goal"), where people can poke each other in IM or PM and do timed writing together?

I completed three Big Bangs in the last month or two, but I still have four left:

scifibigbang and

hardmode. They're all due at the same time, at the end of August. I also have four essays to write (1,600 words each) and an exam to sit in Anglo-Saxon, and consequently a shitload of translation work to do, not to mention research.

So. A timetable! My essays are due on the 10th and the 17th of May. Two on each date. I don't remember exactly which is which, so I might have to rearrange this...

kinked: Get first draft done by 20th April.
Crime Fiction essay: Get first draft done by 25th April.
Women's Poetry essay: Get first draft done by 30th April.
Sir Gawain and the Green Knight essay: Get first draft done by 5th May.
Myth & Saga essay: Get first draft done by 10th May.

ladiesbigbang: Get first draft done by 15th June.

hardmode: Get first draft done by 1st July.

scifibigbang: Get first draft done by 15th August.

Obstacles: Anglo-Saxon exam, moving out of my flat, driving lessons, a summer job, my twenty-first birthday.

I have a feeling I'm going to be posting a lot today, but hey, it's all in the name of getting this community off the ground and making people feel comfortable posting. Right?

Anyway, so I have my

spn_j2_bigbang fic to do. The target is 20k words. Technically, I have until the end of April for my rough draft. Practically, because I want to get on with writing other things, and because my exams are coming up, I'm planning to finish it by the time I take my best friend on holiday.

That's the 6th of April. I started work two days ago.

I also have to finish my edits on my

sncross_bigbang fic today, and come up with a title and a summary.

Keep poking me until I say I've done it? (Poking by comments or PMs is fine. If I don't reply, I'm writing, sleeping, eating, or hiding my head in shame...)
