Name: Kelli.  Will also respond to Elf.
Writing Journal: elfin is my everything journal.  Fic is (mostly) tagged so it's easy to find.  Everything's archived at crazylittleelf  on AO3.
Favorite writing tool: Scrivener.
Type of writing:  Mostly fanfiction.
Main fandoms:  Fringe, with a scattering of Gaiman-verse, Human Target, Criminal Minds, and Top Gear.  In the Fringe fandom, I'm pretty enamored with writing AUs, which the show lends itself to so very well.
Favorite characters:  The father/son dynamic between Peter and Walter Bishop is one of my favorite things about Fringe, especially because that dynamic is so screwed up.  They are two of my favorite characters of all time.  I'm also getting to be very fond of Guerrero on Human Target.  As far as parings go, I like damn near anything.  I like seeing possibilities that people come up with in terms of how and why certain characters would get involved with each other, so I don't really have OTPs.  I do strongly appreciate teh hawt that is Peter/Olivia.  ^^
Most difficult part of writing for me:  Actually, physically writing things down.  I tend to think scenes through in my head, get long strings of dialog, but I don't write them down as I go, so I can never really remember the whole thing.  I'm trying to break myself of this by always having something to write on at hand.
Looking for: Like-minds and sympathetic ears.  :D

I've signed up for scifibigbang , and am eagerly looking forward to the next round of kink_bingo .

(mods: wasn't sure how to tag Neil Gaiman, if there should be tags for each book or a general Gaiman tag.  lemme know.)

I'm with you on not having OTPs, I'm the same. And I'm doing scifibigbang too -- there's a tag for it, and you can make a tag for kink_bingo too, if you like.

Re: tags, I think you can do it whichever way you think is best. I haven't seen much fanfic for Neil Gaiman's stuff, so if you don't mind if being bundled together so we don't overdose on tags, that might work best.

Fixed it! Sorry. You should be able to create tags in the same way as you can on your journal.

I DO THAT TOO! And it is so awesome when I write it out in my head. Like awesome. Then I try to write it and yeah...boo. :p

It's not fair that Scrivener doesn't work for PC. I need a Mac - just for that, because it sounds like an awesome program.

I love Scrivener. It's one of the main reasons I won't give up my Mac despite many good reasons to give up my Mac. They are considering a Windows version, but I'm not really sure it will ever come about.

Giving up your Mac? Really? I'm curious to know why - not many Mac owners would say that. :p

I've got a love/hate relationship with Macs. I really like the operating system and the ease of use. They're very pretty and extremely well-designed. Some of the software available on them can't be beat, like Scrivener.

But they are a beast to work on if you need to do hardware upgrades, assuming that there is actually hardware to upgrade to. Some models of Macs are extremely limited in what can be upgraded, especially anything that's a first generation of the model. And hardware is expensive. I had to replace a video card recently and it was over $300. If it had been a PC I could have gotten a better card for around $80.

If you'll forgive a car comparison, they're like Ferrari's. Very fast, very powerful, but they're just waiting to blow up in your face and take all your money.
